Belize entry requirements are strict. All visitors must have a passport to enter and their passports must be valid for no less than six months after the intended period of stay. Except for a few countries, most individuals don’t require a tourist visa to enter Belize.
When leaving Belize, however, one must take into account the mandatory departure fee. Visit the link to know more because based on whether you leave via the airport or land, different restrictions apply.
Countries that don’t require a visa are:
- Citizens of the European Union Member States (EU)
- Citizens of the Caribbean Community Member States (CARICOM)
- Citizens of the United States of America and dependent territories
- Costa Rica
- South Africa
Citizens of the Commonwealth Realms & Monarchies don’t require a visa WITH THE EXCEPTION of the following:
- Sri Lanka
- West African Countries
