Belize Entry Requirements

Belize entry requirements are strict. All visitors must have a passport to enter and the passport must be valid for no less than six months after the intended period of stay. Except a few, most people don’t require a tourist visa to enter Belize.

 Countries that don’t require a visa are:

  • Citizens of the European Union Member States (EU)
  • Citizens of the Caribbean Community Member States (CARICOM)
  • Citizens of the United States of America and dependent territories
  • Costa Rica
  • Chile
  • Guatemala
  • Iceland
  • Mexico
  • Norway
  • South Africa
  • Switzerland
  • Tunisia
  • Uruguay

Citizens of the Commonwealth Realms & Monarchies don’t require a visa WITH THE EXCEPTION of the following:

  • Bangladesh
  • Nauru
  • Pakistan
  • Cameroon
  • Chad
  • Sri Lanka
  • Mozambique
  • India
  • West African Countries
